The CHO will shortly publish a statement to help customers understand their rights and responsibilities following a road traffic accident. This statement responds to the conclusions of a recent report * from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which noted that "there appeared to be market-wide support for additional information to be given to consumers concerning their rights following an accident, which we wished to encourage." The CHO is committed to helping customers ensure that., following an accident, they are able to navigate the often emotional and complex claims process effectively.
