The 2020 CHO Conference
23 Jul
As you know, Covid-19 has played havoc with the annual round of conferences and exhibitions in all business sectors, including the claims industry.
As conferences will only just be returning, rather than run a conference under the strict new guidelines, we have decided to postpone the CHO conference until 2021. We do intend to hold a networking lunch early next year and we will send more details out once this is confirmed. In the meantime, we will be organising a series of webinars to cover issues that would have been discussed at the annual conference, including ‘post-Covid’ credit hire, fraud, repair, the Civil Liability Act, and well-being. We also plan to run a virtual mock trial, following the very successful ‘real life’ mock trial event we held in Manchester last year.
The AGM will take place on 5 November as planned, but this will be held virtually, and you will receive all the AGM details in due course.
Finally, all members will have received the findings and feedback from the confidential member interviews carried out by Peter Gomes. Our intention is to make progress on the issues raised by the research during the coming weeks and months, but in the meantime, if you have any comments or further thoughts on the documents, please contact Matt Rowland.
