CHO Legal Updates & Articles
13 Mar
Members will be aware that it can be difficult to keep up to speed with the various court cases and other issues in respect of credit hire litigation. Not just news about particular judgments handed down, but the broader context for such decisions and the implications for your businesses.
We are pleased to be able to rectify this situation as a result of an exclusive arrangement the CHO has made with legal expert Azeem Ali, head of credit hire at Clerksroom, who will be writing a monthly article on credit hire legal issues for members.
The articles are designed to be topical and opinionated but also giving you a measured and sober assessment of the legal environment, including cases which he feels members need to be more fully aware of. The first story will be published on the CHO website this month, so please look out for it, and as always feed back any comments you may have.
Azeem is a specialist credit hire barrister with 25 years experience of the law, at Chambers including Chancery Chambers and Clock Chambers. Azeem has been specialising in credit hire since the year 2000 and has appeared in the Court of Appeal for credit hire. He has been at Clerksroom for ten years and been head of credit hire since January 2021.
