CHO Networking Lunch 2024: Guest Speaker Announced

The CHO are delighted to announce the guest speaker for our 2024 Networking Lunch on Thursday 21 March in Manchester.

Guests on the day will be joined by one of the most iconic England cricket captains of all time. A player whose captaincy saw the team to an infamous Ashes win, regaining ‘the urn’ for the first time in over sixteen years, with a 2-1 series win in the summer of 2005.

Born in Greater Manchester, Michael Vaughan will join delegates from across the credit hire industry at a venue just a stone’s throw away from the scene of one of the greatest test matches during that Ashes series, where the opening batsman scored 166 in a first innings score of 444.

Having made over 160 appearances for England, and over 250 first class appearances for Yorkshire, Vaughan retired in 2009 and has since been a focal point of English cricket coverage across the world.

Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to ask questions to the former cricketer as he takes part in a question and answer session following the lunch.

Tickets are available to purchase here and, following a sold out debut for the event in 2023, guests are advised to book soon to avoid disappointment.
