CHO Networking Lunch 2025: Guest Speaker Announced

The CHO are delighted to announce that Paul Merson will be this year’s special guest at the 2025 CHO Networking Lunch.

Paul made a name for himself at Arsenal, starting as an apprentice before going on to make 423 appearances for the Gunners – winning both domestic and European titles whilst in London. Five years after making his senior debut, the midfielder made his international bow for England – going on to appear at two world cups and a European championship.

Paul went on to play for Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Portsmouth and Walsall, where he later became first team manager.

Since retiring from football, Paul has made his mark as a memorable and well liked TV pundit. Appearing on Sky Sports, where he is part of the panel for Soccer Saturday and on the program ‘Fantasy Football Club’, Paul is an instantly recognisable face for fans and most recently appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2024.

In 2019, Paul was praised for his candid discussion on ITVs Harry’s Heroes: The Full English, as he opened up about overcoming addiction.

The lunch will be held at Hotel Football, Old Trafford, Manchester for the second year.

The event offers an opportunity to engage with senior management and key decision makers from credit hire companies and businesses associated with the provision of credit hire.
