CHO to Hold Webinar on Virtual Hearings

The CHO will be holding a webinar on Thursday 25 March (1pm) to look at virtual hearings and their implementation over the past year. You can register for your place here.

Today marks a year since Boris Johnson announced the first lockdown in the UK in a press conference on national TV. In the space of a few weeks the English court system was forced to modernise and implement the use of video technology and virtual hearings.

Throughout the session we will look at the positives and the negatives that the panel have seen so far and whether virtual hearings could continue even when all restrictions have been lifted.

Sitting on Thursday’s panel will be;

– Barry Sutton (Canford Law)
– Alan Gilbert (Auxillis)
– Helen Rutherford (Exchange Chambers)
– Andrew Hogan (Kings Chambers)

The webinar is exclusive for CHO members and you can register for your place here.

If you have any questions ahead of Thursday, or a subject you would likes to see covered in future webinars, please email matt.rowland@thecho.co.uk
