Closing Speaker Announced

The countdown continues to the CHO’s flagship event, with just five weeks to go until we welcome delegates from across the credit hire industry to the Belfry Hotel and Resort on the 7 October.

Every week we will be announcing information on a range of exciting and informative speakers alongside the entertainment that attendees can expect across both the day time and evening events.

This year’s closing speaker is one for all motorsport fans as we are joined by Formula One race engineer Marc Priestley.

For nearly a decade, Marc Priestly worked as a race mechanic and member of the pitstop crew for the prestigious McLaren Racing. After joining the team at the turn of the century, he became recognised as a reliable and precise mechanic, where he coped with working under the immense pressure of the track.

Marc has a wealth of stories to tell, having worked with some of the best drivers in the world, including Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso and having played a key role in Lewis Hamilton’s first ever championship title in 2008.

In his capacity as a keynote speaker speaker Priestley highlights the similarities between an F1 pit-stop team and businesses. The reliance on teamwork, motivation, and synchronisation in both worlds requires an engaged and well-oiled managerial style. Helping business leaders to develop, communicate and motivate their teams.

Tickets to attend the conference, including the evening networking dinner and entertainment, are available here. Accommodation is also available to book directly through the CHO at a subsidised rate and can be booked alongside your tickets.

Members of the CHO are entitled to two complimentary tickets to both the day time conference and evening dinner. Member tickets can be booked here and must be booked by 25 September.

The conference is attended by senior management and decision makers from the credit hire industry and associated businesses. If you are interested, or you are know of a business who may be interested, in exhibiting at the event please contact matt.rowland@thecho.co.uk to discover the options available.
