Consumer Duty

You may be aware of the upcoming deadline for Consumer Duty on 31 July 2023, following the FCA’s publication of its final rules and guidance on the 27 July 2022.

Consumer Duty will affect all regulated firms and is due to come into full force from July 2024.

The FCA have previously released a number of ‘key dates’ as a guide for regulated businesses to progress their preparations, with the final deadline for implementation at the end of this month.
